An elegant diamond dinner ring set with both white and colored natural (not synthetic or lab created) diamonds. In the jewelry trade they are refereed to a “fruit salad” rings because of the use of multi-colored gemstones. These rings were the height of fashion in the mid to late 1970s, and a revival of the fruit salad look popular in the 1940s. This beautiful ring has a total of 16 diamonds with a combined, estimated and approximate total diamond weight of 2.11 carats. There are 8 bright, white and lively round brilliant full cut natural diamond melee with an approximate total carat weight of 0.72 carats with an estimated approximate color in the E to F color range in the mounting and the VS clarity range. There are four beautiful fancy irradiated yellow marquise cut natural diamonds with an estimated approximate total weight of 0.70 carat with clarities ranging from SI1 to VS1. There are two beautiful fancy color irradiated evergreen blue marquise natural diamonds with an approximate total weight of 0.32 carats, and in the VS clarity range. Finally, there are two gorgeous fancy color irradiated coffee color marquise cut natural diamonds with an estimated total weight of 0.37 carats, and in the SI1 clarity range. During the 1960s and 1970s, fancy brown diamonds were called “coffee” colored diamonds. Later on they were called champagne colored, and finally we see them being sold today as chocolate colored diamonds. Personally, I like the original term “coffee colored diamonds.”

The top mounting area of the ring measures approximately 21.00 mm long by 16.50 mm wide x 14.10 mm high. The lower squared knife edge ring shank measures approximately 1.40 mm x 2.60 mm wide. The overall condition of the ring is very good and no repairs are required.

The 14k yellow gold ring weighs approximately 4.5 dwt and is a size 5. But the ring can be sized up or down by your local qualified professional goldsmith.

The retail replacement value for a new ring of the same style and quality is approximately $4,700.00 and upwards. We are pleased to offer you this fine and beautiful estate piece at the exceptional value of only $2,299.00.
